Make Your Trip Better Using 3-1-1

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure. Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening. Relaxation in the security restrictions at UK airports

Please be aware that the UK’s Department for Transport has further relaxed the security restrictions at UK airports. Passengers are allowed to carry one item of hand baggage through security and onto the plane. The maximum allowable dimensions are as follows: 56 centimetres long (approximately 22 inches) 45 centimetres high (approximately 17.5 inches) 25 centimetres deep (approximately 9.85 inches).
